Don Kimble

Don Kimble starting teaching swimming in 1975 while in high school and started coaching swimming in 1979 in the Holland age group program as an 8 & under coach. After a 10 year absence (1989-1999) from the Holland area Don returned to take the Supervisor of Competitive Programs position at the Holland Aquatic Center. In the past 10 years our program has grown into one of the top programs in the Mid-west placing swimmers on National teams, qualifying multiple athletes for the Olympic trials, an 8th place finish at 2009 Juniors Nationals, 3 top 5 finishes at the Central Zone Sectional Meet, numerous top 10 finishes at the Michigan USA Swimming state championships and expanding the potential and possibilities for our athletes. Don coaches the USA Senior group and both girls and boys Holland High swim teams.
Diana Simmons

Diana Simmons started her 24 plus years at the Holland Aquatic Center as a full time swim instructor. Teaching swim lessons for 17 years and being able to promote the Holland age group swim team to parents interested in year round swimming started her on the path towards coaching. Diana started to coach the 8 and under group with the Tulip City Aquatic Club in 1996. With the expansion of the Holland Aquatic Center and the return of Don Kimble as supervisor of competitive programs Diana moved into a full time coaching and assistant position in 2003. She is ASCA coaches certified and assists swimmers at all skill levels. Diana currently coaches the USA Senior Group, and is the head MLA Green Age Group Coach.
Cody Tozer

Cody Tozer is a second year full-time coach at the Holland Aquatic Center. He graduated from Hope College in 2010, where he swam for four years under John Patnott. Cody brings his experience from eight years of swimming competitively and being a member of three MIAA Championship teams at Hope to our program. He currently coaches the Holland Middle School boys team, USA Silver & Gold groups, and 11-14 MLA Green swimmers. He is lifeguard/CPR certified, WSI certified, and assists swimmers at all levels.
Rob VerMeulen

Rob VerMeulen is a first year assistant coach at the Holland Aquatic Center. He graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2009. Rob swam for Don at Holland High during High School and was part of the Holland State Championship team in 2004. He currently is an assistant coach for the Holland Middle School boys team, USA Bronze group, and 9-10 MLA Green swimmers. He is lifeguard/CPR certified, WSI certified, and LGI certified. He also teaches lessons as a swim instructor at the Holland Aquatic Center, and 1-on-1 private lessons.
