Volunteer Information

The LAST TRAIN TO OMAHA sectional meet will be hosted by MLA at our pool March 23, 24, and 25. This is a great opportunity to see high level swimmers, including some from our team try to make that Olympic time trial cut! This is a prelim/final meet; prelims begin at 9 am, finals at 6 pm.

As usual, we need MANY volunteers!! MLA parents and swimmers in all groups, bronze through high school, are required to work 2 sessions/swimmer (maximum 4 shifts/family). Green group parents are welcome to volunteer!

NEW THIS MEET:  Parents will register by SESSION using the Signup Genius link below or in the volunteer section of www.hollandswimming.org. Enter your name and job preference (no guarantee). When the 36 slots are filled per session, you must choose another session! A very good reason to volunteer EARLY! If you don’t sign up, assignments will be made. EVERYONE IS EXPECTED TO VOLUNTEER! Funds raised from this meet are dedicated to replacing the touch pads.

Qualifying Meets:  Big Red Challenge and West Michigan Classic, Summer 2011

Eligibility: Rebates are based on shifts volunteered and worked at the BRC and WMC.

Rebate offer: Each shift is valued at $12, maximum $48/swimmer. Check issued to parent.

Procedure: Register and pay for your swimmer’s fall/winter 2011 or spring/summer 2012 season at the aquatic center front desk. Place the original or a copy of the paid receipt (be sure swimmer’s name appears on the receipt) AND a self-addressed stamped envelope in the CEBELAK mailbox.  A check will be issued and mailed to the address that you provide.

Exclusions: Age group meets do not qualify. No cash value to offer. Expires when summer registration closes 2012.
